" I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life "
Psalms 27:4
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
Here David said he will seek dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life. Yes, we must come in regular worship at the Lord's Temple on the Sabbath day. The Lord made the Sabbath day only to us.
Psalms 11:4
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
1. Why should we come to the Church?
Psalms 5:7
But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
If we say that we should come to the temple of the Lord, we must have great grace. because so many different things in this world? Works, Entertainments, Pleasures these are the things and situations Devil creates to stop go for the church. We are chosen for to live with Fear of the Lord and Obey his commandments. We come with fearful before presence of the Lord and Worship him. we should ask that grace from Lord.
Psalms 5:8
Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
Mark 2:27
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Mark 2:28
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Come to the temple of the Lord is justice, Then only your way will be corrected. We must keep this justice regularly.
2. How should we come to the Church ?
Acts 3:1
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
Peter and John had lot of Works and Ministries but when the hour of prayer comes they correctly went to the Church.
Acts 3:2
And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
Acts 3:3
Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
Acts 3:4
And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
Acts 3:5
And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
Acts 3:6
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Acts 3:7
And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Acts 3:8
And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
Peter and John did not just go to the temple but they are testify for man lame from his mother's womb. They give deliverance to that man in the name of Jesus. after the scripture says he leaping sup stood and walked and entered to the church with Peter and John. We should also testify for people did not know Jesus, we give deliverance in the name of Jesus and guide them to the Salvation. We Should bring them to Church.
3. For What should we come to the Church ?
If we come to the Church We will get benefits
Psalms 65:4
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
Blessed are we all who come to the house of the LORD. When we come to church we will satisfy in goodness completely in the house of the our Lord Almighty. The Lord's Word is the Benefits we receive. You will see the life of Jerusalem all the days of your life. His goodness and grace will follow you. May the Lord do for you the good that you are looking for.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Every word of the Lord will make us to live, The word of the Lord comfort us, The Word of the Lord guide us. The Word of the Lord strengthen us We need to come to the congregation regularly to get the word. The Lord knows all your needs. When you come to church the Holy Spirit will speak to you.
Come to the Church with Full of Joy
Psalms 122:1
A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
A joy should be within you. Let's go to the temple when say Have a great joy in you Oh i am going to see my Lord in his Holy Temple we should like this.
Malachi 3:1
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
When we read this scripture, the Lord orders his angels to send the way forward before we come to the temple. The Scripture tells us to worship Him with the Spirit and the truth. Because he shall suddenly come to his temple. Whatever you ask to the Lord in Church he surely sanction all your petitions.
If we come to the Church we will receive Perennial fountain
Joel 3:18
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
A fountain is in the Church. You and I are the Valley of Shittim This fountain will come from the house of the Lord. In the time of Worship, In the time we hear his Word, In time of We sing to Lord The fountain will fulfill those who are thirsty. This spring is the fountain of my Lord who comes out of heaven. This fountain will fulfill those are come to church who looking for miracles and anointing in their life. This fountain will flourish you.
If we come to Church we will see the Glory of the Lord
Ezekiel 43:5
So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
Psalms 24:6
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Psalms 24:7
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalms 24:8
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Psalms 24:9
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalms 24:10
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
The Glory is the Jesus Christ. if you come to church you will see his Glory
Even Your Old Age You must come to Church
We did not stop come to church even our Old age. Here we will see reference with our Bible A Prophet called Anna. She was eighty four years old. Even her older age she did avoid coming to church. Despite the age of maturity, She don't care about her age She come to the church with thirsty for his people's salvation She told prophecy about Jesus to the People of Jerusalem.
Luke 2:36
And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
Luke 2:37
And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
Luke 2:38
And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
What is the Law of the House of the Lord ?
Ezekiel 43:12
This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
Why say come to the church regularly because the scripture clearly tells us house of the Lord all parts filled with full of Holy everywhere is Holy. That why you should come that holy presence of the Lord. You can not able to holy in your own steps. Lord only made you Holy. we win our flesh only when you come to the Church.
What will the Lord do if we comes into the temple?
Here we will see an event from the scripture. When Jesus Christ entered the synagogue Jesus saw the man with Withererd Hand. He Healed him. And when he was sick, he came to the temple. He was come to the temple even he was in sick Jesus saw him He gave deliverance him even in the sabbath day.
Mark 3:1
And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
Mark 3:2
And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
Mark 3:3
And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
Mark 3:4
And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
Mark 3:5
And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
In the Church The Lord is able to deliver anyone, whenever he wants, He surely redeem you in your appointed time. Your desire, your work, your tears, your thoughts he truly examine you he when you united with Lord Any Whatever disease might be that will ran in the name of Jesus. For that reason we should come to church regularly and take your blessings, grace and goodness from Lord Almighty. Amen.
